Cookie Policy

Effective July 23, 2026

This document is a working template that has not yet been reviewed by an attorney. It reflects how drivway operates today, but it is not legal advice and may be revised.

1. The short version

drivway uses what is needed to keep you signed in and to process payments, plus optional analytics that only run if you accept them. There are no advertising cookies and no cross-site trackers.

2. What we store in your browser

  • Sign-in session (Firebase Authentication) — Firebase keeps your session in browser storage (localStorage / IndexedDB) so you stay logged in between visits. Strictly necessary.
  • Stripe — when a technician manages a Pro subscription or a customer opens a hosted invoice page, Stripe sets its own cookies on those pages for payment security and fraud prevention. See Stripe’s cookie policy for details.
  • Analytics (optional) — if you accept analytics, we use Google Analytics (a Firebase service) to measure aggregate page views and usage so we can improve the site. These run only after you accept them in the cookie banner, and never if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal. You can change your choice any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer.

3. What we do not use

No advertising or social-media tracking cookies, and no sale of browsing data.

4. Your choices

Analytics are off until you accept them, and you can withdraw consent at any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer. We also honor Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track browser signals automatically. You can additionally clear cookies and site data from your browser settings (usually under Privacy → Clear browsing data). Clearing drivway’s site data signs you out. Blocking all storage for drivway will prevent signing in, but browsing technician profiles still works.

5. More information

How we handle personal data generally is covered in the Privacy Policy. Questions: support@drivway.co.
